This is a pretty neat online campaign for Wario Land (Wii) The most amazing is that all the elements on the page are still functional even after they’ve been stacked at the bottom!
I found this lo-fi musicvideo on YouTube, originally recorded on 16mm film. It seems like it´s produced pretty quick and dirty. But I think there´s a nice atmosphere to it. To be honest the video is also an excuse to get this tune on the blog. So enjoy The Slackers – Married Girl!

Achmea is a great example of what can be achieved in terms of a dynamic, moving and animating website without the use of Flash. Believe it or not, this website (apart from, ironically, the opening loading graphic) is achieved entirely with standard html, AJAX techniques and javascript effects.
While there’s nothing wrong with Flash at all (our Flash guys are some of the best, in case you’re wondering), with a content heavy site like this where search engine indexing is so important it’s cool to see what is possible when constrained only to the technology that is built right into the browser.
Of course, whether animation and effects are needed at all on a content heavy site like this is a completely different matter…
In the picture you can see how the Ecofont is created by omitting parts of the letter. At the shown size, this obviously is not very nice, but at a regular font size it is actually very usable.
Use Ecofont the next time you’ll be printing a white paper (that your not going to read anyway).
LOGODESIGNLOVE has made a post with all the logo ideas that weren´t chosen for the election – among these you will find a few odd examples. Check it out

Google have once again released the years trends in seraches in the form of the Google Zeitgeist.
It shows the trends, issues, topics and other popular cultural phenomenon that occured throughout the year, and their relative impact on the search queries of Google users.
It’s a really interesting look into what was intruiging people throughout the year, and it’s great to see large companies like Google releasing this sort of information for public consumption.
In 2006, I met a fellow DJ/Producer who went by the name of DJ Spy Troop. After talking to each other for a while, we formed a group called The Duo in late 2006. In the Spring of 2007, we made our first LP together which was called “The Duo: Good vs Evil”. The album showcased what were capable of at the time as producers, we had only been in Music Prodcution for a few months at the time, so the music reflects that. During that same time, we met another DJ/Producer from the UK who went by the name of This One. This One happened to have his own netlabel, which was called Dust Shop. His label specialized in Experimental, Dub, Soul, and Hip-Hop. This One listened to our little LP that DJ Spy Troop and I had made and liked it. He then signed us to his net label in the later part of Spring 2007. The album was released as a Digital Download complete with artwork in the Fall of 2007. The album featured 2 MCs, Lokust from Canada, and Cheef Long Tooth from the US and had 14 tracks.
