Jeff Bezos discusses the Kindle »

Posted on May 29th, 2011 at 13:05 in Apps, Smartphone, Technology.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos discusses the Kindle (and the e-commece retail business). It’s an interesting discussion from both a technology and a business standpoint since we often tend to assume that the Kindle is subordinate to the iPad. Actually, Bezos argues, it’s an entirely different device optimized for reading. They don’t want to make a me-too product.

The interview is from July 2010 (but you wouldn’t tell). And a new Kindle was just released.

World’s biggest sculpture »

Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 15:12 in Random Creativity, Smartphone, Technology.

Dutch artist Sander Veenhof has created a piece of art that covers the entire globe. If you haven’t found any used brushes around your neighbourhood, it’s because it can only be viewed on your phone. Just download the augmented reality app and start appreciating. You can even change colours along the way. Wonder what da Vinci would make of this?
