Facebook recently announced some nice new features for user profiles pages at thier F8 developer conference. Speculations is buzzing in the advertising industry whether facebook will redesign the brand/fan pages to adapt the same design as the profiles. Some brands have already made a design mockup for their brand/fan page assuming that it will be implemented in the near future. Take a look, I think is looks pretty interesting. Italian creative firm n9ve has clearly embarked on the alphabet concept by giving it a modern take and spicing it with humor. This new video above, called Alphabet 2, beautifully combines photography, sound and animation in delivering an engaging storytelling piece as the group pays tribute to this very essential piece of human invention. The Apple logo is one of the most famous logos in the world. Apple fans not only put this logo on their vehicles to show their loyalty, they go to the extreme of tattooing themselves with it, a level of dedication very few brands achieved. The logo is admired for it’s simplicity and many meanings that people attach to it. It’s timeless. For 30 years it has been unchanged and I expect at least another 30 before anything drastic will be done to it.
